Post & Beam

Post and Beam is essentially a European timber-frame structure, but in place of square timbers, logs are utilized for the building's framework. Either conventional framing materials or Structural Insulated Panels (SIPs) are used to fill in between the log wall posts. Exterior walls are quite often covered with various types of wood sidings or stucco, and the use of natural stone or cultured stone accents can help add a rustic beauty to the finish.
